Trygghetskontroll av bostadshus

.n stor del av stadsdelens fastigheter har besiktigats enligt GG02-metoden, en checklista för trygghetskontroll som Fastighetsägare i Gamlestaden tagit fram i samarbete med Fastighetsägare i Gunnared. Detta har resulterat i att många fastighetsägare och bostadsrättsföreningar förbättrat tryggheten och säkerheten i sina hus och uteområden.

Gemensam bevakning

Föreningen har tagit initiativ till gemensam bevakning som innebär att en väktarbil kör varje natt i stadsdelen. ”Ronderingen” riktas till olika platser allt efter behov. Verksamheten finansieras av föreningen tillsammans med enskilda bostads-, fastighets- och lokalfastighetsägare samt kommunala förvaltningar. Boende kan tipsa väktarna om misstänkt brottslig verksamhet via en tipsstelefon.

Brottsstatistik

Föreningen tar fram och bearbetar brottsstatistik som varje vecka skickas till medlemmar och andra intressenter. Rapporterna kan till exempel ligga till grund för hur vi styr väktarbilen eller att vi kan påvisa samband mellan inbrott och dåligt stöldskydd i fastigheten.

Minskad bilbrottslighet

Att förebygga bilbrott har ända sedan starten varit högt prioriterat. Många P-platser har efter trygghetsbesiktningar fått bättre belysning och gjorts öppnare för insyn. Föreningen förmedlar subventionerade rattkryckor

Protokoll skickas därefter till alla fastighetsägare. Förhoppningen är att problemen härigenom snarast skall åtgärdas. Föreningen driver också sedan flera år ett projekt för att samla ihop och föra bort kundvagnar som står och skräpar i stadsdelen. Tillsynsvandringarna och kundvagnsprojektet sköts av medlemmar i lokala föreningar, som genom dessa insatser får ekonomiskt tillskott till verksamheten.

Strategiska fastighetsförvärv

Bostads AB Poseidon har genomfört ett antal strategiska fastighetsförvärv. Bland annat har det f.d. Forumhuset förvärvats och byggts om till studenthem. En fastighet på Batterigatan har rustats upp och omvandlats till boende med vanlig hyresrätt. Sedan föreningen bildades har Poseidon i samarbete med stadsdelsförvaltningen medverkat till att det oproportionellt stora trycket på socialt boende har minskat, bland annat genom förändringar i egna fastigheter.

Föreningens egen verksamhet

Fastighetsägare i Gamlestaden har, utöver det som framgår tidigare i sammanställningen, genomfört två trygghetsundersökningar, 2003 och 2005. Föreningen har tillsammans med bl.a. biblioteket, polisen och stadsdelsförvaltningen arbetat för trygghet kring Medborgarhuset. Tidningen Trygga Gamlestaden distribueras tre-fyra gånger om året till hushåll och företag
. En egen hemsida har upprättats. Föreningen arrangerar informations- och samrådsmöten med fastighetsägare och bostadsrättsföreningar.

Därtill är ett dussintal lokalfastighetsägare medlemmar. Föreningen har utfört mycket på egen hand men också tagit många initiativ som spridit sig som ringar på vatten.
